CHRISTMAS RA VIA THE PHILIPPINES

(Christmas in Via Filippini)

Sciauru i crispeddhi,

the nativity scene

and petrals,

this was a vote

our Christmas.

Game and me soru

an early morning

who ndi scirriaumu

a with s'aviva a news

pi cousin

and me grandmother

who took us

whoever bons and then receives the latu:

BELLI MEI, They did 1 BRAVI

WHO BROUGHT YOU TO ALL AND DDHUI

THE MARKET.

I'm not the one who split or warehouse chianu chianu,

holding his eternal cigarette in his hand.

There was no party atmosphere

and many cultures

no ddha stradiceddha

China of flavors.

A big family

very respected

and S. Giovanni

it will never end.

DON TOTO, DON'T GET IN,

WATCH ME IF YOU DO ZZITA,

I HAVE TO CATCH THE ROBBER

PIRCHI' YES MARITA.

You made me look for more clothes

it cost nothing

and the traders treat you

common relatives.

The viddhana cu and the long dress

located above the airports,

who kept fresh eggs

intra or fantali.

Aviva won't leave

all right,

who was u spassu ri picciriddhi

ru neighborhood.

There was Roger, who knows what

it seemed like tenors,

offering fresh fish to everyone:

I HAVE CHICKS LIKE EGGS!

while the line of people was finally outside.

Nu bbancuni chinu,to remind them,

NUTS, kill her, mandarins and purtualli

with a little lady covered with a shawl

and on the seat there were braziers

I fell with that heat on my feet.

my brother,

now everyone is like this

there is no one,

nor shops,bancuni and unfortunately

all those people died

and when I pass

'nta dha stradiceddha

who once was like that;

sweet and so beautiful ,

with hands and eyes bowed,

I remember how beautiful it was

CHRISTMAS WILL TAKE ME VIA THE PHILIPPINES.

POEM THAT DESCRIBES THE FILIPPINI WAY OF OLD,LIKE A BEAUTIFUL PAINTING.
ONLY THOSE WHO WERE BORN AND RAISED THERE,LOOKING WITH THE EYES OF A CHILD, IT CAN GET THIS MUCH

I knew I had a very good and competent colleague as well as a very reliable friend. So, I'm not at all surprised to discover poetic skills. Amalia, I know big ! ❤️

Compliments. The verses take the reader by the hand, especially the one who knows places and traditions, and accompany him on this journey through time. Arrived at destination, opening your eyes,it's like being catapulted into the frames of an amarcord film in which, with the imagination, you can smell scents, sounds and,Very, a lot of human warmth.

  5. Salvatore he said,it:

Congratulations for the very evocative verses. They carry the reader with their hand, especially the one who knows places and traditions, on a journey into the past. Once we reach our destination, opening your eyes seems to see the frames of amarcord film and hear sounds, perfumes and a lot of human warmth.

Salvatore, our traditions are sacred and at the time,in that corner of Reggio, you could still breathe the authenticity of a people with ancient customs dating back to Magna Graecia. Proud to have experienced them first hand. Thank you ❤️ for your radiant and knowledgeable review

  7. Scarlett he said,it:

A poem that drags you into the past and instills liveliness. Compliments!!!!!👏👏👏

  8. Carlo Biroccio he said,it:

A poem, which is a brush stroke on a canvas of sweet memories, characters and situations from a good old time.

  9. Mouse he said,it:

Amalia, only those who lived through those periods, can understand the truth of your words, as you described “The Natali ra via Philippines” to perfection. You couldn't pass via Filippini unless you entered the Biroccio brothers' shop, known throughout Reggio. What can I say Amalia… I was moved and I retraced all the stages of my childhood. Very good and congratulations!
