Lebanon Perfume
5 April 2007

When in the morning,
and you went to work,
I enter our bedroom
where we spent the night,
I smell the scent of Lebanon.
A warm warmth and a subtle intoxication
that radiates the room.
And, every morning it is like this.

Maybe love, when it's love,
it never ceases and continues.
Without stasis, nor tiredness.
Ed è: perfume of Lebanon,
as in the canticle 4 of the Bible.

Out of the room,
vallettopoli or employeepoli.
Invasions to power, to the money.
Martyrdom to the innocent.

But it is in the air
for everyone who is serious,
that essence of palm trees and olive trees,
of strength, and vigor,
to rise up on things of nothing
and on false intrusions.

Ed è, perfume of Lebanon.
Present, pregnant, obvious;
to us witness.
