I, I didn't remember it anymore.
But we threw,
stale bread from the day before
to the seagulls at the sea.
Now “the seagulls are back”,
like you said the day before yesterday: numerous
and celebrating on every rock of the seaside house.
And this morning,
I remembered,
than that stale bread in the bag
transparent,
you and me, we can, in the afternoon
upon your return to the Cliff,
throw it into the sea to the seagulls.
I love you so much, Gioia:
and it's a whisper, Between
the roar of the wave that
breaks now and the flight, in flock,
of white seagulls.
