CHINA E’ ALSO HERE

This year too it is finished, at the end of July, my experience of a few years addressed to willing Chinese adults. Il mio “lavoro”, which tries to convey notions of the Italian language to a group of Chinese people located in Milan, is gratified by the results obtained. I do this in a spirit of volunteering at the GMG parish in Milan (Parish priest Don Giuseppe, promoter of this initiative). Nothing institutional, only the spirit of sharing and friendship drives me to this commitment. The majority of “students”they are women, married, mothers with young children. Some have been in Milan for a few years, others for a few months and, quindi, given that they lead their lives in the Chinese context, they have very little or no knowledge of the Italian language. Anyway, after a few months of meetings the results are clear, and this is my gratification. Curiosity: the group comes from the same Chinese province (47 .000.000 of the people living there), and there is also a Peruvian. There are mothers who attend bringing their children, demonstrating a willingness to learn. I am happy to be able to make my small contribution to this purpose. The activity will be resumed in October, with additional new members.
